Allerede 21. september er det klart for Trøndercup for unge og senior lovende. Trondheim Judokwai arrangerte høstens første cup fra u9 til +18. Velkommen Judovenner og ikke glemte å bli med oss den søndag 22. september for trening !
Trondheim Judokwai invites you to the Trøndercup 2024. The event includes a judo championship on Saturday and a training camp on Sunday. This is a fantastic opportunity to compete and a great chance for participants and their teams to make friends across clubs in the region.

LOCATION
Åsveienhallen, Breidablikveien 39, 7021 Trondheim.
AGE GROUPS
U9 = up to and including the year the participant turns 9 (Born 2016 or later)
U11 = up to and including the year the participant turns 11 (Born 2014 and 2015)
U13 = up to and including the year the participant turns 13 (Born 2012 and 2013)
U15 = up to and including the year the participant turns 15 (Born 2010 and 2011)
U18 = up to and including the year the participant turns 18 (Born 2007, 2008, and 2009)
+18 = from the year the participant turns 18 (Born 2006 or earlier)
PARTICIPATING IN MUTIPLE AGE GROUP
U13 may participate in U15 the year they turn 12. U15 may participate in U18 the year they turn 14. U18 may participate in +18.
WEIGHT CLASSES
In children's classes, floating weight classes are used aiming for 4-5 participants per class. Considerations for age and skill level in addition to the child’s weight may be taken. It is important that those registering children provide the correct weight.
For U15 and above, there are fixed limits for each weight class, and weigh-ins will be conducted.
PARTICIPATION FEE
All classes: 250 kr and 50 kr per additional class if desired and feasible. Clubs are billed afterwards for their participants.
ACCOMMODATION
Staying in the club's premises costs 100 kr per guest. Register via email at [email protected]. Payment can be made on-site via Vipps or with a card.
TRAINING CAMP
The training camp will be on Sunday, September 22.
The sessions are divided into two parts: U13 and below, and U15 and above.
The children’s group is led by Birgit Ryningen, 3rd dan black belt with extensive experience in judo for peace and children’s sports.
The youth/adult group is led by Jana Scheffold, a German competitor who has been on the German national team and is a recent winner of the King's Cup in Norway.
Both sessions start at 10:00 AM and last about 2 hours.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
We hope to receive as many registrations as possible by Thursday, September 14, but we will accept registrations after this date as well.
BELT REQUIREMENT
Minimum YELLOW belt in all classes. Competitors with a white belt may participate in U9 and U11 if the team leader deems it safe.
JUDOGI
U9-U15: Only white judogi. U18 to +18 may wear both blue and white judogi.
KIOSK
Food and drinks can be purchased in the hall. Payment via card or VIPPS.
REFEREES
We encourage clubs to use this opportunity to let novice referees gain experience. Referees are guided by the chief referee of the event. We encourage other clubs to provide referees who need practice. Register referees at [email protected]
FIRST AID
First aid personnel are present in the hall.

There are parking spaces near the school.
